Thousand Island Dressing šŸ…šŸ‹šŸ„¬

Salads are a great way to get in some vitamins and you should be eating them as part of a healthy diet, however sometimes they can taste bland if thereā€™s no dressing on them. So weā€™ve beenĀ making some wonderful dressings that go well with our salads and we just canā€™t get enough! This salad of gem lettuce, red peppers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, olives and baby mozzarella tastes amazing with this homemade thousand island dressing.Ā
You will need:
-120g mayonnaise
-1/4 white onion really finely chopped/ crushed
-2 tbsp tomato ketchup
-1 tsp lemon juice
-1/2 tsp paprika
-1 pickle/gherkin finely chopped (you can use any pickle relish (2tbsp) if you have these instead).
-Pinch of saltĀ
Method:Ā
1. Place everything into a large bowl and mix until the colour is a very light pink
and everything has been combined well.Ā
2. Drizzle over your salads and enjoy!
3. If you have any left over you can store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week- remember to stir again before using.Ā
Making sure your salads are dressed well too šŸ˜‰
