Pizza is one of the most popular foods in the world and we can honestly say it’s our favourite! We love making it too, so we wanted to create a way in which each pizza cooks evenly all the way through! Have you ever made a homemade pizza and it looks cooked at the top but the bottom is still doughy? If you answered yes, well then this is the answer! Our pizza stone ensures that your pizzas are evenly cooked all the way through and you achieve that soft texture in the middle and that crispy crust! Made from cordierite stone and coated in food grade fire resistant material which means it can handle high temperatures up to 600 degrees so it's perfect for oven use, grill and bbq’s. The stone can also be used for many other foods too such as breads, pies, pastries, cookies and even frozen foods!
The best way to use your pizza stone:
-Pre-heat the stone in the oven before putting your uncooked food on and then placing it back in the oven.
-If making pizza, place the pizza stone itself in middle of oven or grill and pre-heat it at 500° F/260° for about 15 minutes.
-Sprinkle flour or cornmeal on top of the stone to create a non-stick surface.
-Return both stone and pizza to the grill or oven, close the lid and cook the pizza for 10 to 12 minutes.
-Check halfway through to ensure the pizza is not overheated.
-Once the crust is brown, remove the pizza from the stone. Slice and enjoy.
The best way to clean your pizza stone:
-Once you’ve cooked your pizzas, let the stone completely cool off before washing.
-Don’t use soap on the stone because the porous of the stone will absorb cleaning liquids.
-They best way to clean it, is to hand wash with warm water. Please note that the pizza stone is NOT dishwasher safe.
-The best cleaning brush to use would be a silicone scraper brush or nylon pad to remove excess food.
-Leave to dry naturally or dry the stone with a clean dry cloth.

*Please note-A well-used pizza stone typically has many dark, discoloured areas, which is normal and doesn’t require further cleaning. This means that your pizza stone has become naturally seasoned and will become better the more you use it.*
